The Future Of Perm Is Here: Anti-damage Movement Perm
Say Goodbye to Severe Damage That's Usually Associated with Traditional Perm Services, Today. Hello, Anti-damage Movement Perm!
3 years in the making… It's ready. Developed by Chez Vous, Exclusive to Chez Vous.
What is Anti-Damage Movement Perm?
It is a brand-new perm technique & technology developed by Chez Vous, that creates movement and airiness in the hair. While promoting softness, hydration and repair, all at once! This perm method produces trendy and "lazy"-like waves. Rather than out-dated well-coiffed and pageant-like curls. Best suited for women who want to achieve an effortless girl-next-door look.
"For the first time in history, with Chez Vous' Anti-Damage Technology, customers can achieve movement and waves without experiencing any incremental (noticeable) damage, dryness and dullness, unlike conventional perm procedures. That's how hair-caring and ground-breaking it is!" Salon Director of Chez Vous, Luis Wee
What's So Revolutionary About Chez Vous' Anti-Damage Movement Perm & Why You Must Try It?
1. It uses state-of-the-art Anti-Damage Technology (ADT)
Our hair's natural pH level is between 4.5 to 5.5. Conventional perm lotions that utilize Thio or Cysteamine technology have pH levels between 7 to 10. Any lotion (including ordinary water) with pH higher than our hair's natural pH, will cause it to swell. This leads to both irreversible internal and external damage.
Glyceryl Monothioglycolate is the latest ingredient that's used in Chez Vous' Anti-damage Movement Perm (that'll rock the hairdressing industry). It has a pH level between 4.7 to 5.2. This water-based lotion uses miniaturised-molecular-sized actives to penetrate deep within the hair, to alter its bonds and shape without the need to swell the hair. Say yeah to damage-less retexturizing services!
2. It's packed with the most premium hair treatment ingredients
Erucalactone: Repairs hair both internally and externally while protecting it against heat
Cationized Keratin and Plant-derived Amino Acids: Strengthen hair while promoting moisture retention
Cystine and Glutamic: Boost hair's elasticity and resilience
Plant-derived Cell Membrane Complex (CMC) and 18-MEA: Offer intense moisture and smoothness
Fullerene: Known for its anti-ageing benefits, promoting suppleness and combating unruliness
Malic Acids: Clinically proven to improve hair elasticity and prevent breakage
Ceramides: Soothe and protect cuticles, creating a brilliance and soft-to-touch effect
Behenamidopropyl Dimethylamine: Nourishes hair for intense hydration
3. It makes use of lower temperature
Reduced heat (60 - 90 degrees Celsius) used in the procedure minimise damage caused to the hair when compared to traditional Ceramic Setting Perm services (100 - 180 degrees Celsius).
4. It utilizes a proprietary hair sectioning technique
This technique creates waves that are easier for ordinary women to style and maintain back home. Thus, simplifying their daily hairstyling routine tremendously.
5. It does not have any known negative implications for future in-salon services
Those were the days when certain chemical services when combined, cause severe adverse reactions (such as breakage). Such risks are drastically reduced with Chez Vous' Anti-Damage Movement Perm technology. We do, however, recommend customers not to bleach their hair after any perm procedures because that will loosen the curls considerably.
6. It works for many hair types
Yes, you hear it right. It works on many hair types such as mildly-bleached hair; highlighted hair; mildly-damaged hair; keratin-treated hair; and previously rebonded hair. As long as one's hair texture is not extremely resistant, fine, thick or curly. Nor, is it Henna-treated or severely damaged or compromised, this procedure is feasible. That said, always remember that healthy hair is an important pre-requisite for beautiful perm creations and designs.
7. The possibility is endless
Chez Vous' Anti-damage Movement Perm can be customised to create a variety of K-inspired styles such as C-curls; S-Curls; Korean Curls; Loose Waves; and Beach Waves. The future of perm is indeed here.
Winner of Her World Hair Awards 2020: Best Perm for Airy Movement - Chez Vous' Anti-Damage Movement Perm
* Not suitable for women who have had their hair severely Straightened (Rebonded) or Bleached; or repeatedly Keratin or Henna Treated; or whose hair is extremely damaged and dry (e.g. "Fried" hair). Elasticity is critical when it comes to perm.
* Not suitable for highly resistant hair.
* Simple daily blow-styling with curl cream is required (i.e. not recommended for women who prefer to just air-dry their hair).
* As always, weeks or days before the service, guests are encouraged to replace their usual conditioner with a protein-rich masque to better prep their hair before the service.
How to Take Care of Your Curls & Waves After an Anti-Damage Movement Perm Service, Properly?
Step 1: Use a good moisture-rich yet light shampoo such as our favourite Goldwell Kerasilk Reconstruct shampoo, to cleanse your scalp. Rinse.
