In 2015, Lob (Long Bob) has risen in the ranks to become the must-have haircut of the year, popularized by Pop Princess, Taylor Swift. The current trend in Hollywood is skewed towards a style more tousled, choppy and blunt; which makes it less wearable for the everyday women in Singapore.

Due to Singapore's humid weather and Asians' unique hair texture, many who have tried to own a blunt and tousled Lob will realize that their Lob tends to look messy, frizzy and unfinished. Reinventing this classic to better suit time-poor working professionals, Associate Salon Director, Shawn Chia opt to do a half-head soft-rebonding to smooth out the outer hair layer while ensuring that one still has the volume she desires. This way, anyone can just leave the house without blow-drying and styling their hair.

Also, to contour one's face shape, forward layering was chosen to better frame Annabel's face. This hairstyle was also given a twist by using a rarely used hair colour - Boysenberry. This colour, though interesting and unique, is still appropriate for work. Customizing the hairstyle for today's active women, the hair length is also kept just below the shoulder so that one can tie it up when required.

What is luxury?

Some people might think that spending a large amount of money on a loud statement piece even when you know that you can only wear it just for a while is a luxury. Because it is indeed pleasurable and excessive.

Not for me.

Luxury is when intricate details are taken into consideration and tailored-made for no one else, but you.

That's luxury.
