When Associate Salon Director, Veyond Chong was tasked to do a look for Chez Vous 20th Anniversary Look Book Challenge, she told herself, why not use a fashion shade that most people avoid or hate?

Copper, one of the most dreaded hair colour by both Asians and Caucasian. Ask a Caucasian if she wants to sport a copper coloured hair, she will most probably say no! Same for women in Asia, the colour copper, has long been associated with the term - "Ah Lian" (a female hooligan)!

With that, Veyond would like to challenge the notion that copper hair colour is highly unwearable. Think Donna Paulsen from the American sitcom - Suits! When customised and designed correctly, ordinary women can become personalities too.

Through the brilliant execution of traditional weave and slice techniques, intertwine with the ombre and dip dye colouring method; hair is brought to life with greater depth, texture and dimension; alike to a flower blooming into life.<

After every wash, the wearer's hair colour will unfold over time, blending the new colour with the old - resembling a flower life story; where every stage is a beautiful episode by itself.
