Dreaming of K-pop worthy "naturally" soft silky hair, with flowing c-curls at the end? Check out Chez Vous' Amplified C-Curl Treatment Rebonding, designed and formulated by Associate Salon Director, Oscar Lee.

The service starts with a wash and heavenly massage to ensure hair is cleansed and prepped for the subsequent steps. A potent dose of pre-treatment lotion is then added into the retexturizing lotion to provide the protection your tresses need. This is followed by a half head permanent straightening treatment at the crown area to smooth our unnecessary frizz without flattening the hair, for easy styling and manageability back home. After that, a treatment-grade digital perm will be selectively and precisely applied to the hair ends to sculpt the lush, soft C-curls that are all the rage now. Lastly, as a fitting finale, your crowning glory is treated to a luxurious reparative mask, to ensure that every strand of hair is strengthened, enriched and lustrous for maximum shine.

CONSULTATION

Suzanne, previously modeled for international brands like Vidal Sassoon and L’Oreal; had her hair chopped off (almost completely) for their hair shows. She painstakingly took 3 years to grow her hair back and vowed never to have her hair cut short again – at least for the next few years. We guess.

During the consultation process, Suzanne was looking for a change and sport  a look that is soft, ladylike, and appropriate for work. Initially, she was hoping to have her hair permed to achieve those luscious soft curls seen in the magazines. However, Associate Salon Director, Oscar Lee felt that soft curls might make her look “older” than her actual age. Yes, you hear us right. Not everyone can take soft curls. For certain face type, it can actually "add more years" to your actual age.

Hence, he proposed a mid-long sleek hairstyle with C-curls at the ends to make her look more feminine and refined; without looking overly "girlish" or "cute". The best part, it is very low in maintenance.

TIPS

• After having a C-curl perm, one will still need to use a round brush to sculpt the curls inward during daily styling with a hair dryer. This is to "guide" the curls and ensure that they curl inwards as opposed to outwards. Of course, always use a heat-protectant serum on hair before any heat-styling.



• Treat your hair ends with both moisture-rich and protein-rich goodness regularly to better maintain the curls.



• Always remember, one will need healthy and chemically unprocessed hair (e.g. non Keratin treated, pre-lightened, permed or rebonded hair) to achieve the best-looking C-curls.



• Lastly, avoid over texturizing the hair. Too much "layers", the C-curls won't "hold".
